Emma Aitchison

The natural world is the main source of inspiration for British born and based designer and maker Emma Aitchison. Emma is a firm believer that jewellery should not be a contributing factor to the harming of the planet or to humans. Emma’s jewellery is made with a careful consideration of production methods, packaging and sourcing of materials. Respecting the planet and its people from start to finish. She is proud to present a conscious, regenerative brand and hopes this will inspire others to follow suit with similarly sustainable practice.

Growing up in the countryside in South West England, Emma developed a firm attachment to nature, and she is now passionate about protecting the natural world. It was after many years working in the creative industry in London, during which time she built bespoke props and made accessories for some of the biggest names in fashion, that Emma decided to turn her passions for design and protecting the natural world, into a business.

Droughts, flooding, and shrinking glaciers all have a ripple effect through the changing environment. These pieces are inspired by the nourishment and value of rain and its vital place in our ecosystems.

Rain is a sprawling collection of statement pieces, one of a kind shapes, puddles, raindrops, splashes, cloud bursts, and some pieces inspired by soft and cosy days spent sheltering from the rain.
